Start with the learner
We begin with a conversation about learning goals and what helps the learner engage. Essential information is discussed privately before appropriate support is agreed.
Adapt how learning is presented
Depending on the learner’s needs and tutor competence, sessions can use visual choices, predictable routines, practical materials, communication supports and a suitable pace.
Support access to Maths and English
Activities can be broken into manageable steps and adapted to help learners participate. The focus remains on educational goals and making progress easier to follow.
Agree safe and suitable support
Tutoring is educational and does not provide diagnosis or therapy. Suitability, practical arrangements and any essential safeguarding information need to be considered before sessions begin.
Discuss a suitable plan
Tell us the learner’s year group or age range, the subject or goal and your preferred area and delivery format. Online or in-person arrangements, availability and fees are agreed before booking.
Keep the first enquiry general. Please do not include a child’s name, diagnosis, medical information or safeguarding concerns.
