ThriveTrack Education is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people who access our services.
Safeguarding is everyone's responsibility. We aim to provide tutoring and educational support in an environment where learners are treated with dignity, respect and care and where concerns about their safety or welfare are taken seriously.
Our safeguarding approach
ThriveTrack Education aims to:
- place the welfare of children and young people at the centre of our work;
- maintain appropriate professional boundaries;
- respond appropriately to safeguarding concerns;
- ensure relevant safeguarding information is recorded appropriately;
- share information with appropriate professionals or statutory agencies where necessary to protect a child or young person;
- support safer recruitment and working practices for people delivering services on behalf of ThriveTrack Education; and
- continually review safeguarding arrangements as the organisation develops.
Tutors and staff
Anyone delivering services on behalf of ThriveTrack Education is expected to act professionally, maintain appropriate boundaries and follow ThriveTrack Education's safeguarding procedures.
Appropriate recruitment, identity, right-to-work, reference and DBS checks will be undertaken according to the role and legal requirements.
Raising a concern
If a child or young person's safety or welfare may be at risk, ThriveTrack Education will take the concern seriously and respond in accordance with its safeguarding procedures.
Where appropriate, information may be shared with parents or carers, schools, local authorities, safeguarding professionals, emergency services or other statutory organisations.
Safeguarding information cannot always remain confidential where withholding information could place a child or another person at risk.
Immediate danger
ThriveTrack Education is not an emergency service.
If a child or another person is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services by calling 999.
